90 Day Warranty
Nini’s Jewels offers a 90 day (3 months) on all products, excluding clearance jewelry and free gifted items. Our warranty covers all manufacturer defects such as stone under 0.05ct or any stone up to 1.5mm length. We do not cover any neglect, abuse, or natural wear & tear in your jewelry purchases.
If your item has a manufacture defect, please return it to us for inspection within 90 days of delivery date. After inspection, we will determine the piece is defective, we will offer complementary repair or replacement if needed. However, if we determine your item was not damaged due to a manufacture defect, we will notify you and provide you with a quote for repair. All communication will be sent via email.
List of Exclusions:
- Damages caused by neglect, abuse, and natural wear & tear.
- This type of damage is the most frequent type of damage we see on our customer’s jewelry and are easily detectable when we inspect it under magnification. For example, when the prongs of a ring are worn thin due to natural wear & tear or through neglect, the warranty does not cover this type of damage. Also, if a ring is bent due to damage of the ring being worn, the warranty does not cover this too.
- Jewelry repair by another jeweler/person(s) not through Nini’s Jewels.
- If you choose to bring your jewelry to another jeweler, we are not responsible for any jewelry work/repair done by someone else. We advise you to reach out to Nini’s Jewels before taking it another jeweler. Please email us at ninis.jewels@gmail.com.
- Damage to center stone.
- If your center gemstone has been damaged or lost, we do not cover this. Every gemstone has their own hardiness to them, so please make sure to treat your piece with care! The gemstones can potently break/crack from knocks or bumps.
- Rose Gold / Yellow Gold Vermeil Plating.
- When your jewelry is sent to out, we send out a card advising you on how to care for your jewelry. All our jewelry is made with pure silver 925 (except special requested items made of 14k yellow gold), have either been Rhodium Plated aka 14k white gold plated, 14k Rose Gold plated, or 14k Yellow Gold plated. To avoid any discoloration, we suggest you avoid contact with water or chemical.
If you would like to send your item in for repair after the 90-day jewelry warranty has expired, please contact us for an estimate of the jewelry repair fee or view our “Jewelry Repair” collection to see what we offer. If you do not see the repair you are inquiring about, please contact us. If we no longer carry a certain gemstone or design, we may not be able to repair. Please remember to take care of your jewelry! Jewelry is extremely delicate and isn’t resistant to everyday wear, which can be caused by activities or trauma. This is especially true towards rings since it is worn on our hands and we tend to do lots of different things throughout each day. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when caring for your jewelry.
- Jewelry is sensitive therefore we recommend keeping your jewelry in the small jewelry bag sent with your item inside of a jewelry box (oxidation can vary). See the different jewelry box options offered by Nini’s Jewels.
- Avoid jewelry contact with water such as swimming pools, saunas, hot water, any liquid containing chemicals such as hand sanitizers, hairspray, perfumes, etc. This can cause discoloration on the jewelry piece or the gemstone color, which could possibly cause the gemstone to crack/break.
- Wearing prongs thin on the jewelry piece is what we typically see happening to pieces when a stone falls-out. This is something that happens over time of wearing your jewelry piece. If this does happen, it will have to be re-tipped or replaced at your cost.
- Again, jewelry is very delicate. If our pieces do come with a tag attached, we advise you to cut the tag off the piece verse pulling or tugging the tag off. Then carefully remove the rest of the tag. If you are not careful, this can bend the item and could potentially damage and make stones fall off of it. If this does happen, it is not covered in the warranty. We would be more than happy to send you a quote for the repair.
- We do not provide a warranty for theft, losing product, loss of gemstones, or any other part(s) of the jewelry piece.
